My training and work as a free-lance textile designer led to botanical painting. I am a member of the Society of Botanical Artists and I exhibit in this country and abroad. I have sold work in Tokyo, Denmark, Israel, New York, and Palmengarten in Frankfurt.
I have also produced designs for wallpaper, ceramics and carpets and after moving to Ely, I illustrated children’s books.
All forms of printing give me pleasure and I taught screen printing to Art Foundation students at Reigate and St Albans Colleges of Art.
Collage takes me back to my love of architectural and abstract forms and allows me to be more experimental and on the architectural side it has been a privilege to exhibit with OuseLife in Ely Cathedral.
